Since then they have put in extensive upgrades and built the resort into a special experience in the Cariboo. Together Leanne and Bear oversee resort happenings and are very involved. They have enjoyed getting to know all the guests and look forward to expanding the business and operations in the future. South Point Resort is their home and Canim Lake is a very special place for them both.
Growing up in 100 Mile House, Tanya is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the area. She has spent many years in hospitality and this will be her fourth season at South Point Resort.
Tanya is meticulous when it comes to room cleaning and resort process - and is very detail-oriented, which makes for an amazing guest experience. She also is a Gemini, loves nature and anything heart-shaped :)

Nory has been spending summers, long weekends and winter holiday stints on Canim Lake for over 12 years. In 2021 Nory and her hubby moved permanently to Forest Grove and built their dream home. With a love for animals and the great outdoors not only is the region a perfect fit, but her background in corporate event planning and tourism make working at South Point a dream come true. Helping to facilitate an exemplary guest experience while showcasing all that the Cariboo has to offer brings her so much joy and she is looking forward to her second season at South Point! And you may meet her sidekick, Haisley from time-to-time :)
We are so thrilled to have Rick and Deb here this season with us until September 1st! They will be parked up in site #17 and will be helping out around the resort. They are originally from the Lower Mainland and have camp hosted at other campgrounds before as well. Be sure to say hi to them (and their dog Sadie!).
Heather grew up camping and exploring the wilderness all over BC. After 15 years of vacationing on Canim Lake (and daydreaming about it the rest of the year), she now calls the Cariboo home! With a background in hospitality and customer service and an attention to detail, she'll be sure to make your stay as comfortable and carefree as possible. This will be Heather's second year at South Point.

Sarah grew up on a farm in the Lower Mainland. A year after highschool she went to work in hospitality in Banff, where she had most of her experience. She spent a couple years in the Cariboo when her kids were small and absolutely loved it. But then made the decision to head back east to NS where her spouse grew up. They came back home to BC at the end of 2020, and decided to call the Cariboo home again! She's literally been coast-to-coast and then back again! She loves nature, family and her fur babies! Crocheting, art and gardening are just a few of her hobbies. This is her first season at South Point.
Roxy has spent her entire life on Canim Lake and loves the water, boating and humans. She will make sure other dogs are on-leash as she can not handle it any other way. She also ensures all squirrels are managed appropriately throughout the grounds.
