Traveling by car or motorhome:
Coming up from Vancouver, the fastest way to get here is to travel through the Fraser Canyon on Highway 1 to Hope and Cache Creek, and then on Highway 97 to Clinton and 100 Mile House. This journey takes approximately 6 hours. There are some great stops along the way, making this trip a scenic journey. We can recommend some top-notch coffee shops, dog break areas and antique hunting spots.
Coming from Alberta, it is best if you take the Yellowhead Highway, Highway 5 through Valemount and Clearwater, then turning onto Highway 24 at Little Fort. From Little Fort, it takes approximately 2 hours to the resort.
If you are coming from either of the above directions, it is essential that you drive through 100 Mile House, and do not take the gravel road to Canim Lake which is found on Highway 24. The Canim Lake turn off is located along Highway 97 on the right hand side, 3 kilometers north of the Village of 100 Mile House and the paved road continues on for 40 kilometers through Forest Grove before reaching Canim Lake.
Coming from Prince George, travel through Quesnel and Williams Lake on Highway 97. If you are coming from this direction, the Canim Lake turnoff is located on the left hand side just before 100 Mile House. From Prince George, you can expect a 4 hour drive.
Flying to Canim Lake
If you would prefer to fly to Canim Lake, you can fly from Vancouver International Airport to Williams Lake Airport and rent a car at the airport. The flight is 1 hour long, and the drive from there is an hour and a half to the resort.
